POET strikes deal on CO2 pipeline in Nebraska

SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — Ethanol giant, Sioux Falls based POET may have found a new CO2 pipeline.  POET is the world’s largest producer of biofuels.  Company officials say they’ve entered into an agreement to convert an existing natural gas pipeline in Nebraska to deliver carbon dioxide to a sequestration site in Wyoming.  POET says the project will open new market opportunities for Nebraska corn growers.
