PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — Steady as she goes on South Dakota’s unemployment rate. The Rushmore state’s December jobless rate is still the lowest in the nation at 1.9-percent, where it has hovered since October. The Sioux Falls Unemployment rate actually declined last month, going from 1.8-percent to 1.7-percent.
