SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — A former warden says the proposed Lincoln County prison will end up being a billion dollar albatross. The Dakota Scout reports Doug Weber has sent a letter to lawmakers, urging them to delay the decision and consider alternatives. Corrections officials defend the current plan, saying it’s backed up by recommendations from outside consultants.
