PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — South Dakota Legislators have the day off to observe Martin Luther King, Junior Day, but they’ll be back in action tomorrow. One of the things they’ll tackle this week is a bill to require age verification for websites that contain harmful material for minors, like pornography. Republican Representative Bethany Soye of Sioux Falls is the primary sponsor.
The bill will be taken up by the full House this week. 19 other states have already passed similar legislation.
