WASHINGTON, DC (KELO.com) — Governor Kristi Noem heads to her confirmation hearing in Washington tomorrow to become Secretary of Homeland Security. Appearing on the Greg Belfrage Show Thursday morning, Senator Mike Rounds said he expects the Governor to work her way through the hearings, but says she will face some challenges. One particular challenge he mentioned was the book she authored last year that included some claims and events that later proved to be embarrassing to the Governor. The Governor’s confirmation hearing is scheduled for first thing Friday morning.
