PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — South Dakota is joining several other states in ordering flags to full-staff on Inauguration day — January 20th. They will be returned to half-staff the next day, and remain there until January 28th in honor of former President Jimmy Carter. The changes were announced Thursday morning by Governor Noem’s office.
