EDGERTON, MN (KELO.com) — A man is behind bars in Minnesota – charged in the strangulation death of a Sioux Falls woman. 35-year old Joseph Benson is accused of strangling 38-year old Samantha Koehne in a home in Edgerton last weekend. Benson has a lengthy criminal record in South Dakota…including a domestic abuse case that also involved Koehne. Benson pleaded guilty in that case, receiving a suspended sentence.
