Lockdown remains in effect – inmate’s families join to express concerns

SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — Dangerous weapons and other contraband are being discovered as prison officials search the main penitentiary and Jameson prison annex in Sioux Falls.  A lockdown that began Sunday night remains in effect until the search is complete.  With all of the issues in the prison system this year, a new group has formed to try to effect change.  That group gathered in downtown Sioux Falls Thursday night.  Tom Rooney was there.
