WASHINGTON, DC (KELO.com) — He calls it a common sense, basic standard of decency, but it was rejected by the U-S Senate. Senator John Thune asked the Senate to pass his “Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act”. It would have guaranteed medical care for babies who are born alive after an attempted abortion.
Senate Democrats quickly defeated the bill.
