SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — “Out with the old and in with the new” will take on extra meaning for the Whittier Middle School neighborhood in Sioux Falls. The School Board voted unanimously to replace the century-old facility, which will mean tearing it down. It will also mean razing 29 homes and a church – something Board President Carly Reiter calls an important consideration.
The new school is planned to be built just north of the existing building.
