SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — A Sioux Falls woman faces a long list of charges after trying to flee from police. 40-year old Leslie Epling was allegedly buying used cars by giving the sellers bad checks, and then trying to sell them quickly on Facebook Marketplace. Police set up a sting operation to catch Eplin at Lewis Drug at 10th and Cliff. Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Deputy Josh Phillips says they though they had her trapped at the Garden Center outside the store.
Epling was arrested along with three accomplices on a number of theft property damage and drug charges.
