WASHINGTON, DC (KELO.com) — It’s called “No Escape Room”, and it gives parents real-life scenarios on how easily their children can be trapped in a sextortion scheme. The interactive video is produced by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Michelle DeLaune is President & CEO of the Center.
DeLaune says her organization has seen a 300-percent increase in sextortion cases in the last two years. This aggressive form of blackmail has led some teenagers to take their own lives. DeLaune says her group created the video to show parents how easily, and how quickly their children could become a victim.
The video is called “No Escape Room”. You can view it by following this link: https://noescaperoom.org/
