PIERRE, SD (KELO.xom) — Attorney General Marty Jackley is warning the sponsor of an abortion petition of possible violations. In a letter to Rick Weiland of Dakotans 4 Health, Jackley says he has evidence that petition circulators aren’t following state law. The Attorney General says circulators are also misleading the public by saying the measure wouldn’t legalize abortion through all three trimesters of pregnancy. State Representative Jon Hansen of the Life Defense Fund says that isn’t true.
So far, we have not received any response from Dakotans 4 Health.
