PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — They hope to have a decision on a proposed CO-2 pipeline in just over a month. The South Dakota Public Utilities Commission just finished ten days of testimony on the Navigator pipeline planned for the southeastern part of the state. Pipeline opponent Ed Fischbach is concerned about safety. He says Navigator should have to release its study on what happens if there’s a rupture.
Navigator wants the P.U.C. to overturn pipeline zoning regulations passed in Minnehaha and Moody counties. The company says those regulations would make building their pipeline impossible.
