SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Three people are dead after a home explosion in Ft. Pierre.
Authorities responded to the home shortly before 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday and what they discovered when they arrived shocked them.
The home was completely flattened by the blast, launching debris as far as 100 yards away.
Homeowners Kelsey and Trevor Hupp were at work when the explosion occurred, killing their infant daughter and Trevor’s parents.
Their two young boys were miraculously found alive and rushed to a burn unit in Minnesota.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the blast.
