SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A vehicle versus pedestrian accident in central Sioux Falls Monday has sent one man to the hospital.
Public Information Officer Sam Clemens explained the situation during Tuesday’s police briefing.
The 52-year-old victim was taken to a local hospital where he’s currently being treated for life threatening injuries.
In light of the accident, Clemens reminded residents about the city’s crosswalk laws.
Authorities say that at this time, the 22-year-old driver will not likely be charged with striking the pedestrian.
However, he was cited for driving with a suspended license and without insurance.
