SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The first measurable snowfall of the season resulted in numerous crashes across the area on city streets, rural roads and highways.
While no serious injuries have been reported from the crashes, Sioux Falls Police say they responded to 25 accidents during the morning commute.
They’re reminding drivers ahead of tonight’s commute to slow down and give yourself plenty of space between you and other drivers.
They added that it may take some time for some drivers to get used to driving in the snow once again.
While a snow alert will not likely be issued, plows will be out throughout the day to make sure the main roads are clear.
