SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Opponents of Wholestone’s new slaughterhouse felt that the issue should be decided by the voters of Sioux Falls
Now that residents declared there be no changes to the city’s ordinances, the plan should be able to move forward.
But there’s the court case, which, for now, is halting construction.
Wholestone’s Chairman Doctor Luke Minion says they will now move to have the case dismissed.
He also says he’s hopeful that because Wholestone has followed all the rules and permits, and the addition of the people’s voice, will settle things for the courts.
