SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Granville, Iowa, man on Wednesday after he made terroristic threats over the phone.
58-year-old Ryan Betcke called Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls and threatened to shoot employees with an AK47.
Due to the threats, Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls along with the Orange City Health were placed on lock down status until Betcke was arrested.
He was then transported to the Sioux County Jail where he was charged with making terroristic threats, a class D felony.
