SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The college’s Promoting Leadership in Advanced Research Computing for Interdisciplinary Sectors (PLAINS) program immerses undergraduate students in a 10-week research experience.
They will focus on the responsible and ethical conduct of research, emotional intelligence and career development. Each student is assigned a research project in specific areas including math and medical sciences.
South Dakota State has received $400,730 in funding from the National Science Foundation, some of which is being used for the program.
