SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — One local baseball team has won their first ever State A Amateur Baseball title.
On Sunday, The Sioux Falls Squirrels rallied late in the game to defeat the Brookings Cubs 4-3 at Cadwell Park in Mitchell.
The league, often dominated by the Renner Monarchs and the Sioux Falls Brewers, awarded the Squirrels with their championship trophy after the game.
Dell Rapids defeated Garretson 5-2 to repeat as Class B champions.
