SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The average price for a gallon of gas fell again last week to a national average of $4.21 – 63 cents cheaper than a month ago.
But a slight uptick in gas demand could end the steady decline.
Triple A spokesperson Andrew Goss says, “with gas below $4 a gallon at nearly half of the gas stations around the country, it’s possible that gas demand could rise”.
Gas prices across much of southeastern South Dakota have fallen below $4/gallon, with the cheapest gas being found in Madison and Canistota where prices are as low as $3.69.
In Sioux Falls, prices range from $3.99/gallon to $4.39/gallon.
