SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The USDA announced that the Risk Management Agency is expanding double crop insurance opportunities in nearly 1,500 counties where double cropping is viable. That includes counties in the KELO listening area.
This step is part of the Biden Administration’s effort to reduce potential food shortages and lessen the impact of the war in Ukraine. Another goal is to help improve domestic food production in the face of these challenges.
