SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Wednesday afternoon’s thunderstorms produced heavy rain as they passed through our area.
While a tornado watch was issued, there was only one short-lived warning in southern Hutchinson County.
But the chance for severe weather returns Thursday as hot and humid air fuels another round of thunderstorms.
According to the National Weather Service, the entire KELO listening area will be at an enhanced risk of experiencing severe weather.
The main risks will be large hail, damaging winds, and a few tornadoes.
Make sure to stay weather aware, and check back in with KELO.com for more updates on the springtime severe weather.
