WASHINGTON, D.C. (KELO.com) — The crisis at the US Southern Border sees about two million illegal crossings a year.
Senator John Thune blames Biden administration policies.
Thune believes that although we are a nation of immigrants, there has to be respect for our nation’s laws.
He is concerned that with the number of illegal crossings, the amount of fentanyl coming into the country poses a grave threat.
He pointed out that fentanyl is the number one drug killer of people ages 18-45.
Thune made his comments at a press conference on Thursday.
