SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls residents are circulating a petition to not have the Sioux Falls School District opt-out of the state-mandated property tax freeze.
The district says the schools need the money.
The taxpayer group wants to hold the line on property taxes.
If you are interested, you can sign the anti-opt-out petition Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon at the Laurel Oaks City Park.
