SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — It was a busy crime weekend in Sioux Falls.
BULLET GRAZES MAN IN THE BACK OF THE NECK
He might be the luckiest person in Sioux Falls.
A 28-year-old man walking from his car to a bowling alley early this morning narrowly avoided serious injury early Monday morning in a shots fired incident.
As the man walked into the parking lot, he heard gunfire and felt something graze the back of his neck.
It was a bullet.
He was not seriously injured and did not need extensive medical treatment.
Sioux Falls police think there were two to four shots fired in the 3200 block of East 10th Street near the Eastway Bowl.
Police are canvassing for possible video of the incident.
DEAD BODY FOUND IN THE BIG SIOUX
Sioux Falls Police are investigating a dead body that bystanders found in the Big Sioux River late yesterday (Sunday) afternoon.
They found the body near the spillway by the state prison.
Police say there were no obvious signs of trauma.
However, authorities are conducting an autopsy.
A GELATIN GUN?
A person in the 22nd and Garfield area heard a strange sound, then saw they were shot with a gelatin ball or something similar.
The incident happened after midnight Friday.
The victim saw someone drive off in a silver Subaru.
Sioux Falls Police are investigating.

Sioux Falls Police are investigating an outdoor mattress fire over the weekend.
They say someone was burning the mattress in their backyard when it go out of control.
The police have not yet made an arrest.
FAKE $50 DOESN’T MAKE IT TO THE REGISTER
An alert clerk spotted a fake $50 bill at a convenience store before the culprit could make a purchase.
Sioux Falls Police say they are looking for the funny money passer.
