SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls Fire Rescue is investigating a garage fire Sunday night.
The fire occurred at 610 West 17th Street.
The fire was in two garages and a tree.
SFFR put out the fire in about 15 minutes, then checked for hot spots.
No one was hurt.

Sioux Falls, South Dakota: On Sunday, March 20, 2022, at 11:34 PM Sioux Falls Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire at 610 W 17th Street.
The first arriving company found fire coming from 2 garages and a tree. Crews attacked the fire from the exterior of the garages and had it extinguished in approximately 15 minutes. The fire was contained to mainly the exterior of the garages. The crews then checked for any fire extension and hot spots during overhaul.
No civilian or firefighter injuries occurred during this incident.
Sioux Falls Fire Rescue responded with 4 fire trucks, 3 support vehicles, and 21 personnel. Sioux Falls Fire Rescue was assisted by Metro Communications, Sioux Falls Police Department, Patient Care EMS, and Mid-American Energy.
Sioux Falls Fire Rescue would remind residents to have working smoke detectors and a practiced escape plan in the event of a fire emergency.
