SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) – The city of Sioux Falls is planning to waive some of the permit fees for a project that plans to build 25 tiny homes for veterans.
The fees that will be waived for the Veteran’s Community Project, Inc., include inspection and permit fees from planning and building, public works, fire, and police.
A handful of other non-profits also benefit from the special ordinance, including Habitat for Humanity.
The city council will take final action on January 31st.
