SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — It was a relatively quiet pre-Christmas weekend in Sioux Falls crime-wise.
Below are highlights from Monday’s Sioux Falls Police briefing.
TWO ROBBERIES
Sioux Falls Police are investigating two separate robbery incidents over the weekend.
In the first, a guy was in a restaurant and thought he was selling two of his cell phones.
Instead, the would-be buyer grabbed them, and a struggle ensued.
The robber got away.
In the other, a woman shoplifter ran out into the parking lot.
An employee followed. The woman’s male companion head butted the clerk.
They too got away.
No one was seriously hurt in the incidents.
YET AGAIN, MORE SHOTS FIRED
There was another shots fired call over the weekend in Sioux Falls.
Police don’t have a lot of details.
It happened in the 10th and Cliff area.
