SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) – After a drunk driver totaled his food truck, a Sioux Falls restaurateur is asking for the public’s help. Bryan Krueger, owner of The Sloppy Weiner food truck woke up early Sunday morning to find his two-month-old business had been totaled by a driver who hit and dashed.
The driver is now in custody, but Krueger doesn’t know when he’ll see any insurance money. And it could come too late to save the business.
Krueger has already been forced to cancel a big catering job, one he said was going to pay his bills for November.
In order to keep the business open, Krueger has set up a Go Fund Me site. He’s hoping to raise $25,000 to help pay for repairs or a new truck.
