SIOUX CENTER – The Sioux Center Police Department is recommending that those wishing to trick-or-treat in Sioux Center do so on Saturday, Oct. 30, from 4-7 p.m.
To keep trick-or-treating safe, the police recommend:
- Trick-or-treaters, be aware of vehicle traffic and use caution crossing roadways • Drivers, be aware of pedestrians
- Children should be accompanied by adults when trick-or-treating.
- Trick-or-treaters, carry a flashlight for visibility
“Pay attention to your surroundings and stay safe,” says Police Chief Mike Halma.
The Sioux Center Police Department will be patrolling neighborhoods to help keep it a safe celebration.
There is also a Hallelujah Party on Saturday, Oct. 30, from 4-6 p.m. at the Sioux Center Community Middle School Gym (the former high school gym).
