SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — With much of the region seeing rain showers throughout the day, the scattered storms aren’t quite finished.
The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls says that showers forming near the Nebraska, Iowa, and South Dakota border will make their way north throughout the evening.
While the storms aren’t likely to be severe, some cells could produce locally heavy rainfall and lightning.
Showers are likely to stick around through the first half of the weekend.
