City of Sioux Falls begins consideration of 2022 budget

SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) – The City Council moved forward with consideration of the 2022 budget of more than $654 million.

27% of the budget is designated for water reclamation. 20% for highways and streets, with 8.9% for the police.

2nd reading for the budget will be on September 14th.

Council members promised there would be amendments.
