SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Another day, another flasher, another shooting, and a couple of robberies.
Here are the details from Friday’s Sioux Falls Police briefing.
BURGLAR FIRES SHOT INTO THE FLOOR
Sioux Falls Police are looking for a burglar who broke into an apartment early Friday morning.
A woman and her kids were inside sleeping at the time.
They heard loud noises, the kids screamed, and the culprit shot a round into the floor.
The woman thinks there were two men involved.
They didn’t take anything.
The incident happened in the 600 block of South Western Avenue.
YET ANOTHER FLASHER INCIDENT
Authorities are investigating yet another flasher incident.
This one happened Thursday outside the Empire Mall in Sioux Falls.
A 16-year-old girl was leaving the mall.
A man drove up to her and exposed herself.
The man took off, and she took off for her vehicle.
Police are looking for a blue, four-door sedan driving by an Asian man.
MEN IN BLACK WITH A GUN
Sioux Falls Police are investigating two early morning Friday robberies by two masked men with a gun.
The first incident was in an apartment parking lot in the 300 block of North Kiwanis.
Two men, dressed in black, went up to a man in a car, pointed the gun, and took his phone and money.
About an hour later, a woman in her car at an apartment in the 1300 block of South Cleveland said two men dressed in black with a gun robbed her.
They stole a purse and cell phone.
Neither victim was physically harmed.
