SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A fisherman near Sioux City noticed a dead body in the Big Sioux River on Saturday evening.
The fisherman reported seeing the body peeking out of the water, and called authorities.
The Sioux City Fire Department arrived a short time later to retrieve the body from the water.
Authorities are unsure how long the body had been in the water.
It has been taken to a morgue in Sioux City to be identified.
