SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Just days after lowering the COVID-19 threat level in South Dakota and the Sioux Falls metro area, the non-profit COVID Act Now has raised the threat level to “very high risk.”
Previously, the risk level was “high risk.”
The risk increase is for the state of South Dakota and Minnehaha and Lincoln Counties.
COVID Act Now says the threat is reduced for those who are vaccinated against the coronavirus.
