SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) – With the heat nearing triple digits in some areas tomorrow, the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls wants to remind you to stay hydrated, limit your time outdoors, and be mindful of your pets.
To keep your pets safe, check for hot surfaces, provide plenty of water and cool shelter if possible
If you are taking your doggo for a walk, check the pavement temperature by placing a hand or bare foot on the surface for 10 seconds.
If it’s too hot for you. It’s too hot for your furry friend.
Along with the heat, there is also a chance of severe weather returning late tomorrow evening.
