SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) – The Sioux Falls City Council is considering a proposal to support a request for a $21,500,000 Tax Increment District (TIF) at the former Sioux Steel location.
The funds will support site preparation and a parking garage for the $200 million dollar project.
The Council had previously approved the TIF but, COVID-19 delayed the project. This new proposal would restart the project.
The council hears 2nd reading of the ordinance, on July 6, 2021.
