SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) – Sioux Falls City Councilor Greg Neitzert and Erica Beck, Chief of Staff to Mayor Paul TenHaken, have been appointed to represent Sioux Falls on a medical marijuana Joint Task Force.
The IM26 joint task force includes 2 representatives each from the City of Sioux Falls, Minnehaha, and Lincoln counties. The task force will consider ordinances to regulate medical marijuana, which becomes legal on July 1st.
The South Dakota Department of Health has until Oct. 29 to enact the rules and regulations around its usage, growth, sale, and other details related to the new law.
