SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls Superintendent Jill Stavem spoke with Bill Zortman today during It’s Your Business.
Superintendent Stavem talks about how the district fared better compared to smaller school districts throughout the state when it came to problems that arose from the pandemic.
“Did we have enough teachers in the classroom, did we have nurses in our health rooms, did we have people to clean? We were able to continue staying open because we could answer [with] yes.”
Superintendent Stavem says that doesn’t mean people weren’t sick along the way, but it never got to a point where it caused a major structural flaw in daily operations.
