Brandon to discuss replacing police with Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office

BRANDON, S.D. (KELO.com) — Monday evening, the Brandon City Council will consider replacing its police department with coverage by the Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office.

In recent weeks, Brandon’s police chief has resigned and so has its mayor.

Tonight’s meeting is at 6 p.m. in the Brandon City Council Chambers.
