SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A Sioux Falls, South Dakota, man convicted of failure to register as a sex offender has been sentenced.
Reno Chadwick Roubideaux, age 46, was sentenced to 18 months in
federal prison, followed by five years of supervised release, and a special
assessment to the Federal Crime Victims Fund in the amount of $100.
Roubideaux was convicted of Aggravated Sexual Abuse of a Minor in
June 1994. As a result of this conviction, he is required to register as a sex
offender and to update his registration within three business days of relocation
or changing employment. Between August 8, 2020, and September 14, 2020,
Roubideaux failed to register and update his registration.
Roubideaux was indicted by a federal grand jury on October 14, 2020.
He pled guilty on November 5, 2020.
