SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Local authorities have apprehended a teenager whom they say was involved in the shooting death of another Sioux Falls teen earlier this month.
Early Wednesday morning, a Sioux Falls swat team arrived at the 900 block of E. Sixth Street and arrested Sembel Sale, 17.
Police say he’s being charged with first-degree murder, two counts of attempted murder, and one count of attempted robbery.
Authorities say Sale accompanied the victim Ephraim Duolo Shulue, 16, to a marijuana deal in attempts to rob two other individuals.
After the victim and Sale got out of their vehicles that’s when Devon Moses Montileaux, 17, opened fire killing Shulue, police say Sale then fled the scene leaving the victim behind.
Police are still searching for 17-year-old Devon Moses Montileaux that fired the fatal shots.
Sale is being charged for being involved in a felony that resulted in the death of another.
