SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Street construction update:
Planned Signal Outage – Intersection of
41st Street and Minnesota Avenue
Beginning at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, September 23, 2020, the traffic signal at the intersection of 41st Street and Minnesota Avenue will be dark while crews work to install a new signal cabinet. Stop signs will be erected and the intersection will function as an all-way stop for the duration of the work.
Action Electric will be performing the work at the intersection and plan to have the signal fully operational by 11 a.m. on the same day.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while traveling near the project area and may want to consider alternate routes.
Intermittent Street Closures – 57th Street
Beginning on Wednesday, September 23, asphalt paving will begin along 57th Street from Minnesota Avenue to Western Avenue. There will be intermittent street closures to Caraway Drive, Yellowstone Circle, and Sweetbriar Drive while the paving operations continue to work through the areas and is expected to be completed by Monday, September 28, 2020.
Residents will be able to access their properties by using Ralph Rogers Road, from Minnesota or Western Avenue. Residents along Yellowstone Circle may need to find alternative parking arrangements during the paving operations.
