Sioux Falls man charged with felony theft during May 31 riots

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls Police charge another person in connection with the May 31st riot at the Empire Mall and other locations.

Officer Sam Clemens says the Verizon store at 41st and Kiwanis had been ransacked. Looters took a number of items.

One of those items was an iPad found outside the store.

The state criminal lab got fingerprints off it.

Now Samuel Garmonda Darshaw, 20, faces felony theft.

He remains in jail on a $20,000 cash bond.
