SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Amid supportive signs and patriotic songs, 100s of people lined the sidewalks along Minnesota Avenue near the Law Enforcement Center to show support to area law officers.
The “Back the Blue” rally ran from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday.
There were about 20 people on the west side of Minnesota Avenue that showed their support for “Black Lives Matter.”
Both sides were peaceful.
There have been several rallies in Sioux Falls for the police or those who want to see police reforms since the death of George Floyd while in police custody in Minneapolis May 25th.
