PIERRE, S.D. (KELO.com) — The South Dakota Department of Health reports five deaths from the coronavirus.
That brings the state’s death toll to 59.
There are 73 new positive cases for a total of 4,866.
46 more South Dakotans have recovered for a total of 3,744.
Twelve more people have been hospitalized over the course of the virus for a total of 418.
Ten fewer people are currently hospitalized for a total of 90 patients.
Active coronavirus cases increased by 22 to 1,063.
