Today will mark the final “Sports Talk with Craig and John” show on KWSN after the most recent four-year run and seven collective years starting in 2008.
Or, maybe it won’t.
KWSN’s Craig Mattick and John Gaskins are laid off as of today due to COVID-19, absence of current sporting activity, and revenue losses. FOX Sports Radio’s “The Doug Gottlieb Show” will air weekdays from 3-6 p.m. starting on Monday.
Midwest Communications management hopes to bring Craig, John, and the show back once the economy has improved and sports are back.
But, this could be it for “Craig & John,” and the “Sports Talk” show from 3-6 p.m. after 19 years, with KWSN’s original brand manager Craig Mattick as co-host for the entire duration.
Sioux Falls is a wildly unique city and sports market, full of lifelong South Dakotans and transplants from all over the globe who now call this booming area home. Sports fandom here is diverse and passionate, and we have done our best to bring you the best coverage of teams and topics of local and regional fan interest at all levels.
