South Dakota’s senior Senator has tested negative for COVID-19.
Senator John Thune returned to South Dakota this week after experiencing flu-like symptoms.
Thune’s doctor recommended he be tested for coronavirus on Friday.
Thune was tested because of his work with Kentucky Senator Rand Paul, who has tested positive for COVID-19 and worked in the senate for six days after getting tested, saying he had no symptoms.
Senator Mike Rounds is self-isolating on his family farm because his wife is at high-risk for the virus.
